What are the benefits of steel look aluminium doors
Steel look aluminium doors provide similar styling to original metal doors but are made differently, and you will find them substantially cheaper than steel. Aluminium also gives you products not usually available with steel for the outside of your home, such as bifolding and sliding doors. Aluco steel look doors are the slimmest with features and innovations you won’t find on other doors.
How much are steel look patio doors?
Aluco Aluminium designs and manufactures its products, and our trained, vetted and approved network of installers professionally installs these. Get in touch for details of your nearest Aluco installer and showroom if you require a quotation.
Can you use steel look aluminium doors internally?
We have designed a dedicated internal system that is single-glazed, non-insulated and designed for use inside the home. It is perfectly possible to use the Aluco Exterior Collection inside the home as a double-glazed door system.
Does Aluco Exterior Collection meet Building Regulations?
Yes. Our products meet Part L of the Building Regulations for energy efficiency with the correct glass specification. They also meet Part F ventilation requirements when fitted with suitable trickle ventilation. Our doors, being latest generation, provide U-Values not possible on some other brands.
What is the threshold height?
For our exterior collection, the threshold height is 33mm. Aluco Elite also has a Part M-compatible threshold for improved accessibility.
