The design of Aluco steel look doors takes inspiration from classic steel doors, here made only with horizontal glazing bars and transoms. Entirely lined through with the safety glass units, the project comprises several screens comprising either doors with side panels, or fixed screens. The design also features slimline corner posts where door screens meet fixed windows, creating both external and internal corner arrangements.
Slimline aluminium profiles, powder coated in the desirable matt black finish provide a beautiful colour finish, whilst antique chrome door handles create a contrast. Using our bespoke exterior system, the Aluco steel look doors and framing all have the latest insulated aluminium profiles with a polyamide thermal break. Combined with the 28mm glass units, toughened throughout and having a soft-coat low-emissivity coating, warm edge spacer bars and argon gas fill, the entire door and window arrangement provides insulation and helping lower the property energy bills.
At the top of the windows, are slimline black trickle ventilators, designed to provide consistent airflow into the rooms, and also meeting Part F of current Building Regulations.
At the side of this new build extension are single Aluco patio doors again with the horizontal glazing bars and with a smaller fanlight above, glazed with a black solid aluminium panel.

Where required, to meet the customer requirements are opening window modules in the upper sections of the windows. These feature period window handles, multipoint locking systems, internal glazing beads and trickle ventilators.
