Using a combination of premium aluminium and quality glass to create interior steel look sliding doors offers a number of benefits over conventional doors. The first is style. Few doors look as distinctive as the steel, providing a classic and timeless appearance that is unlikely to age or fall out of fashion.

Space saving is another great feature of choosing interior sliding doors because they move neatly out of the way in front of the wall or can even slide completely out of sight into a wall pocket. For many restricted spaces, a hinged door would encroach on the space. For this particular project, the sliding door slots neatly between the open wardrobes of the dressing room, so clothing is always accessible whether the door is open or closed.

The benefit of natural light and creating a more open feel is another compelling reason to go with a glass door. And chosen well, you can still benefit from light with the privacy a bathroom obviously requires.

Bespoke Aluco sliding doors – there is no other door like it.

Expertly crafted by us and installed by our approved and trained installers, we’ve created a single sliding door arrangement from our Interior Collection, sliding to the left, viewed from inside the dressing room.

Hand-finished and providing style and quality between these two spaces, our sliding doors come with the sought-after slimline aluminium profiles and the desirable black matt colour finish. The profiles are a mere 34mm deep against the wall and 37mm on the face dimension to the frame and transoms.

Next is the floating lock body, which is just 150mm wide in the style of period metal doors. Its flush design gives exactly the right look to the door and is very much the most prominent feature and what makes this style of doors so popular.

For this project, the black colour finish is complemented by the brass flush recessed handle, that not only looks great, is easy to use and lets the door slide to its desired position without hitting any walls. At the bottom of the doors is our standard bottom rail, or we offer a deeper 150mm option.

We have cleverly designed our sliding doors to provide lots of great features and user comforts. Our interior steel look sliding doors come with a soft-close facility. We’ve sourced some clever hardware to make closing the doors effortless and prevent them from slamming shut. An adjustable soft-close facility controls the final closing of the door against its frame and a piston design ensures it stays open. Give the door leaf a small push and the door leaf moves out ready to close.

Doors sizes are equally impressive. Single sliding doors go as small as 600mm wide up to a lovely and wide 1500mm. The heights go up to 2400mm high and we can even create cupboard sliding doors or for small alcoves and recesses with heights as small as 1500mm high. Overall the maximum aperture possible with sliding doors is up to 3500mm wide and 2300mm high.

Finally, the reeded glass adds exactly the right look to this style of door.

Great company to deal with and exceptional quality. Used Aluco for quite some time now and always amazing service and a premium product.
Highly recommended, especially with their newer range of 'Elite' products that can now hit 1.0W/m2K.

We did some research and came to Luxe Interior doors by Aluco.
The double doors from our kitchen to hallway look stunning, they look and feel like the quality doors that they are. Thank you Kieran.

We wanted to invest on a quality set of doors as one of the main focal points in a rather large extension of our home. After doing some research we settled on Aluco. Our contact from start to finish was Kieran, who was so helpful, constructive and knowledgeable. When installed we were so pleased as the fit was perfect, the finish outstanding. Not only did we consider the quality better than other options we looked at, the cost was nowhere near them. So much that our window/door fitters that we used on the job are now looking at them as an alternative. A solid 5 out of 5 and would definitely use again.

I recently had 3 sets of ALUCO exterior crital styled steel framed doors fitted to my property as part of an ongoing renovation. After looking around at various options Aluco was the only manufacturer that I felt could deliver the style I was looking for. With most other companies I thought the design was bulky and not finished to the finesse Aluco has achieved . Based on my experience I can honestly thoroughly recommend this manufacturer and will look to use them again on any future projects
