ALUCO DOORS AND HERITAGE WINDOWS IN HAMPSHIRE
Part of the Aluco Exterior Collection, our installation of heritage windows in Hampshire comprises a variety of aluminium casement windows in several styles, all having the grid-like pattern of period windows.
Manufactured using premium aluminium, all the windows have insulated frames enhanced with a polyamide thermal break. The glass is high performance insulated glass units having a soft-coat low-emissivity coating, warm edge spacer bars and argon gas fill. Low-level glazing and all doors have the same specification but are made as toughened safety glass for security and protection.
The windows use our opening-out casement design, designed as side-hung windows for larger openers and top-hung casement windows for smaller opening elements. Every window comes with a high-security multipoint locking system, securing the opening vents at several locking points. The opening function uses hidden friction stays, with a fire-escape facility to first-floor windows, letting the windows open fully to the side. With the glass also secured from the inside, these are very secure windows throughout. Finishing off the windows are gorgeous monkey-tail handles, typical of the style that would have been fitted to this property originally.
Steel look French Patio Doors
Providing garden and exterior access are our steel-look patio doors, all opening outwards. These come in the desirable steel look, with slimline profiles and period handles with the larger backplate set behind on the lead leaf only. Adding to the style are our 20mm glazing bars, the thinnest available with doors of this design and replicating steel doors better than any other product on the market.
The doors have a five-point multipoint locking system, hidden flush bolts to the secondary leaf, internal glazing beads and a high security key cylinder.
