Part of our durable, insulated and hand-finished Exterior Door Collection, we’ve manufactured for L and L Installations a large screen comprising central double doors, side and top panels. All our double doors come in a range of sizes and are suitable for both small, standard and slightly wider openings.
The doors and screening come with Aluco’s premium aluminium extrusions, coloured in a grey powder coated finish. All framing has polyamide thermal breaks creating an insulated and energy-efficient screen, in conjunction with high-specification insulated glass units.
The design comprises a set of French doors with matching side panels and four glazed elements above. Each is carefully manufactured not only to provide symmetry and balance but also to add rigidity to the entire glazed unit. The doors comprise our standard design with the feature backplate behind the black handle, slimline door hinges a standard threshold and colour-matched cill below the entire screen. The doors open out from the main leaf with flush bolts fitted to the secondary leaf, when that needs to be opened.
The glass comprises 28mm units having toughened safety glass, a soft-coat low-emissivity coating, warm edge spacer bars and argon gas fill.
Fitted as standard to the doors is a five-point locking system with additional high-security key cylinder. All glass is securely fixed from the inside only. For the multi-panel glass design, we’ve used aluminium transoms and glazing bars, creating the iconic grid pattern that is typical of this glazing style.
