For the outside of this product we manufactured:
- A fully glazed single door to the utility room, offering improved access and increased natural light
- A side entrance door with obscure glass for privacy and separation
- Our iconic floating lock doors, enhanced with 20mm horizontal glazing bars for a traditional steel door aesthetic
- A full-height, fixed picture window with ultra-slim framing, designed to frame garden views and maximise daylight
All external Aluco doors in this home are fitted with high-security locking systems, including multipoint locks and premium key cylinders. Frames are powder coated in RAL 9005 matt black, applied to marine-grade standards and matched across the project for total visual consistency.
The floating lock design used both inside and outside the property enables a clean centreline, with glazed panels uninterrupted by vertical bars—offering a contemporary interpretation of a traditional feature. Where privacy is needed, obscured glass has been used without altering the styling or sightlines.
Internal Heritage Aluco Doors
Internally, our internal Aluco doors provide a great match, with near-identical sightlines, giving matching internal and external heritage doors. Here we provided
- A central set of floating lock doors into the dining room, configured with matching 20mm horizontal bars
- A second matching set, this time using obscure glass, providing privacy while maintaining continuity across the space

Internally, black contemporary handles are tactile and elegant with flush bolts security the secondary leaves. Additionally, a seamless finish, with no thresholds interrupting the flooring. The result is uninterrupted visual flow between rooms, enhanced by safety glass and Aluco’s unique method of hand-craftsmanship.
